I GOT A STORY TO TELL : FEB 1ST

”I GOT A STORY TO TELL,” our very first activation for the calendar year of 2025 and on the very first day of BLACK HISTORY MONTH

celebration curated by TWG ART LIAISION : TATIANNA MACK | @theeartoftati

This activation features the works of four talented Black Women artists:

✨ BLU MURPHY | @blu_murphy

✨ BRITTNEY S. PRICE | @brittneysprice

✨ KAYLYN WEBSTER | @kaylyn_elyse

✨ LEX MARIE | @thelexmarie

“I GOT A STORY TO TELL” is a powerful celebration of Black Womanhood showcasing works in acrylic on canvas, mixed-media collage, textiles, works paper and panel. Through each artists composition and selection of materials, their shared stories of love, pride, resilience and the rich complexities of identity shines bright in this beautiful and thoughtful curation. IGASTT inspiration stems from heartfelt conversations between curator Tatianna Mack and her maternal grandmother exploring family legacies and the strength of storytelling across generations. As Tatianna Mack prepares for her curatorial debut, “I want viewers to experience and honor the powerful traditions of storytelling, leaving with a feeling of empowerment and deeper appreciation for the voices that often go unheard.”
