We’re excited to announce “HERE NOW and THEN” in collaboration with Hamilton-Selway Fine Art opening during Frieze LA and Black History Month on Wednesday, February 25th at 5PM ✨ The exhibition includes works by emerging and blue chip artists such as Gregory Saint Amand, Moses Salihou, O’Neil Scott, Floyd Strickland, and Candice Tavares, as well as works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julie Mehretu, Mickalene Thomas, and Kehinde Wiley.
HERE NOW and THEN is based on lived realities, memory, and enduring legacy of the Black Diaspora. Together the artworks in the exhibition offer a distinct yet interconnected perspective on Black identity across time, place, and experience.
A percentage of proceeds from sales in the exhibition will be donated to American Friends of Jamaica, ( ) a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to support Jamaican charitable organizations and social initiatives committed to sustainably transforming the lives of Jamaicans.
