“I GOT A STORY TO TELL” is a powerful celebration of Black Womanhood showcasing works in acrylic on canvas, mixed-media collage, textiles, works paper and panel. Through each artists composition and selection of materials, their shared stories of love, pride, resilience and the rich complexities of identity shines bright in this beautiful and thoughtful curation. IGASTT inspiration stems from heartfelt conversations between curator Tatianna Mack and her maternal grandmother exploring family legacies and the strength of storytelling across generations. As Tatianna Mack prepares for her curatorial debut, “I want viewers to experience and honor the powerful traditions of storytelling, leaving with a feeling of empowerment and deeper appreciation for the voices that often go unheard.”

She is a proud graduate of Morgan State University, a distinguished HBCU, where she studied Fine Arts with a concentration in Mixed Media and received recognition as an award-winning student. With over a decade of teaching experience in low-income urban communities, Blu is deeply committed to amplifying the voices of individuals who are often undervalued, unappreciated, and unseen. Her signature style blends photography, graffiti, texture, and bold color to tell compelling stories rooted in African American culture and history. Blu is renowned for capturing the innocence and resilience of her students through her lens, transforming their narratives into striking, layered visual expressions. Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as The Washington Post, Architectural Digest, Washington City Paper, and DC Fray Magazine. Additionally, she has exhibited her art in esteemed venues, including The Target Contemporary Gallery and Dupont Underground.
Brittney S. Price is a fine artist and muralist based in Los Angeles, CA. Her work creates powerful visual narratives focused on social justice, identity, and current events. A central element of her artistic practice is the Sankofa Adinkra symbol, which she uses to explore the connections between the past, present, and future from her perspective as a Black American woman. Price's work has been displayed in prestigious venues, including the Palm Springs Art Museum, where she exhibited pieces titled "Maid N' America" and "Choose Joy." She has also established significant corporate collaborations with companies such as Target, Warner Bros., and HBO Max. In 2024, she partnered with Bungie Gaming for the 10th anniversary of Destiny and created a commissioned mobile mural for Vitamin Angels' 30th anniversary in Anaheim. Her expertise has been recognized through certifications from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's (LACMA) Teaching Artist Training Program and the West Hollywood Artist Bootcamp. Price frequently conducts workshops that explore identity through collage and leads creative initiatives like "Adinkra & Me" for organizations including the Black Lives Matter LA Chapter. Her art has also been featured by Google Earth and various media platforms, solidifying her status as an important voice in contemporary art.

Lex Marie, born in Prince Georges County, MD, is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses paintings, sculptures, and installations that delve into personal experiences while resonating with the broader African diaspora. Her art critically engages with themes such as adultification biases, food insecurity, and systemic issues within American school systems, themes that were vividly highlighted in her 2022 solo exhibition, "Let Them Kids Be Kids," at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington. Marie has participated in several notable group exhibitions, including "REVISIT/REIMAGINE" at the Banneker-Douglas Museum (2024), "Stories From My Childhood" at the NIU Art Museum (2022), and "Future Places" at the Susquehanna Art Museum (2022). Marie has also received numerous awards and grants, including the S&R Evermay Washington Award (2023) and the District of Columbia Arts and Humanities Art Bank Grant (2023 and 2024).
